ISLAMABAD - The Annual Parents’ Day of the Pakistan Air Force Public School Lower Topa was held at Murree on Saturday.
Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest, while speaking on the occasion, praised the students and faculty members for producing exceptional results in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Earlier, the principal of the school, Air Vice Marshal (retd) Syed Imtiaz Hyder, presented annual report, highlighting the significant achievements of the institute.
Later, the chief guest awarded prizes to the winners of different events.
Amongst the key award winners, Abdul Mubeen Siddiqui was awarded with Topian Tiger trophy while Amir Wadood and Muhammad Yaqoob clinched the Topian Scholar and Top Boy trophies, respectively.
The Quaid-i-Azam shield for the best all-round performance was awarded to Siraj House for the year 2012.
The event included a smartly turned-out marching contingent of the pre-cadets followed by an impressive PT display, demonstration of gymnastics and a martial arts show.
